Welcome to WVRW!
There’s a popular meme about President Trump, showing a photo from his famous stint working at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania in October of 2024. Next to the iconic photo of him in an apron and shirtsleeves, leaning out the drive through window to wave at customers, it says, “You can just do things.”
Perhaps this is why President Trump’s administration is so jarring to some and such a breath of fresh air to others. In the 21st century, we are so bogged down with bureaucracy, baggage and trillions of dollars in debt that it seems like we might not ever “just do things” again.
Thank God we have a President that doesn’t accept that as America’s current hand of cards. It may be rough, it may be bumpy, because that’s reality, but he’s “just doing things” that are worth doing – that have needed to be done for a long time. Border under control? Yes. Enemies put on notice? Check. Fraudulent claims on the US Treasury? Found and soon to be eradicated.
Campaign season is upon us again and we can also “just do things,” even if they seem like insurmountable challenges. President Trump focuses on people and things that are effective and successful. Let us do the same as we work to improve the governance of our cities, counties, states and country. It’s a great time to be a Republican!

We believe that women are the most powerful force for needed change in national and especially local politics. Through political awareness, education and community involvement, the members of WVRW will be an effective and valuable support for Republican causes and candidates.

Founded in 2001, ten visionary women banded together and created Westlake Village Republican Women Federated (WVRWF). Since its inception, our club has been actively working to support positive political advocacy and placing women in leadership positions. In 2024, we reorganized as WVRW.

We have members from both sides of the county lines, representing all ages, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds, who are united in one purpose-to promote Republican ideals through political advocacy and electing good candidates.

Monthly social events, volunteer and service projects, speaker events, annual parties and political awareness events. A collection of photos from our past events.

Our informative newsletter called The Trumpet contains important and current information about upcoming events, news and much more. The Trumpet is sent to our members and/or subscribers quarterly.
